Choosing the right components is the first thing in creating a high-quality product. We work closely with LED packaging companies, manufacturers of the various components that make up LED strips, such as PCBs and resistor elements.

Only high-quality components are sourced to our production workshop. Components are selected within tight specifications to ensure long life, high performance, light efficacy, correct color temperature binning, correct CRI.

LED bin area and selection

This is one of the most important factors for LED strips. We use the same color BIN for each manufacturing run of an LED within its color temperature range. This means that when you order 4000K white LED strip today and order the same product over time, you won’t notice a difference. We differentiate the 3 MacAdams and do rigorous in-house testing to ensure the strip is perfect.

This is a test of the LED chip’s “lifetime” and color output over time, or “chromaticity shift.”

Our LED strips can last up to 36,000 hours. Lifetime is defined as the number of hours it takes for an LED to reach 70% of its original brightness (lumen output).
